Tal Albarak- Founder & CEO
Tal Albarak is the founder of STRACON-INT and has over 11 years of experience in security, warfare, and intelligence. He has served in various organizations, including the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Israel Security Agency ("Shin Bet"), the Foreign Ministry, and the Internal Defense Ministry, gaining expertise in intelligence operations such as commanding complex operations, building security protocols, and forming and instructing security teams. After his service, Tal founded two businesses specializing in physical security and counseling, as well as an intelligence service that focuses on intelligence gathering and investigations. With his extensive network of worldwide connections, Tal has been able to provide support for projects anywhere in the world. He has also helped to establish and improve upon technological and physical security systems in over 50 facilities in Israel and around the globe, offering solutions to complex problems.
Dr. Eyal Pinko
Dr. Eyal Pinko, a retired Navy Commander (OF-7, CDR), served 30 years in the Israeli navy and intelligence unit. His roles spanned naval operational duty, heading weapon systems and missile development programs, and leading an intelligence branch at the Naval intelligence. After his naval service, he contributed for an additional five years in an operational intelligence division at the Prime Minister's Office.
Dr. Pinko has received numerous recognitions, including the Israeli National Security Award and the Head of the Prime Minister's Office Decoration of Excellence, among others.
Post-service, Dr. Pinko became a senior consultant for the Israeli National Cyber Directorate, where he focused on developing cybersecurity methodologies and risk assessments. He holds degrees in Electronics Engineering, International Relationships, Management, and Organizational Development, and a Ph.D. in Defense and Security Studies from Bar-Ilan University.
An accomplished academic, Dr. Pinko has authored more than 400 articles in premier security and defense journals and has been a keynote speaker at numerous international conferences. He has been awarded research scholarships for his notable contributions to maritime and national security research.
Tal Sar-El
Tal Sar-El is a homeland security expert boasting over 35 years of experience in the Israeli Security Agency (I.S.A.). He has multidisciplinary security expertise spanning facilities, delegations, dignitary protection, aviation, seamanship, and information security, acquired through various management and command positions in Israel and abroad.
His key roles in the I.S.A. include serving as the Regional Security Manager for Israeli missions and aviation in Europe and Africa, heading the unit performing operational audits and offensive simulations (Red Team) globally, and leading the unit responsible for the security inspection of the Israeli Prime Minister. Additionally, he commanded the security implementation for Israeli embassies and flights worldwide, headed the I.S.A HQ security unit and other facilities in the Prime Minister's office, and was at the helm of both the Information Security unit and the Maritime Security unit at the ports of Haifa and Eilat.
Tal Sar-El holds a Directors certificate with Financial Specialization from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, a Certificate in Information Security Management in Large Organizations from Tel Aviv University (under standard mark ISO27001), an M.A. in Public Policy from Haifa University, and a B.A. in Middle Eastern studies. He is multilingual, proficient in English, French, and Arabic.
